DEI Mission
To promote a culturally-rich educational environment reflecting the diversity of our world through strategic initiatives, educational discourse, and active reflection, while supporting the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth and development of our school. AWS actively encourages and supports diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in all areas of our community life.
We are committed to being an anti-racist school, acknowledging the global effects of colorism which have widened the disparities of Black, Brown, Indigenous, and all People of Color. We will amplify the voices and stories of people that systems of oppression have and continue to marginalize.
AWS is committed to deepening our understanding of each other and the world as reflected through our humanity, as well as our own unique heritages and identities.
