On October 6th, a very stormy Saturday morning, over 30 outdoor educators gathered together to immerse themselves in songs, stories, arts & crafts, along with discussions about current research and shared experiences. Just before our first outdoor workshops were scheduled to begin, the clouds parted and the warm autumn sun rayed down upon us. It was a glorious day; inspiring and reaffirming to share and reflect with others who walk a similar path. We had participants from a wide geographic region: Ontario, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and in-state attendees coming from: Syracuse, Ithaca, Jamestown & Buffalo.
Deepest gratitude to all who helped make the Retreat such a success! Special thanks to Anna Harp, Vicky Lucca, Megan Mills Hoffman, Scott Szafranski, Liz VanEvery, Lisa Carrow, and Monica Wiedel-Lubinski of ERAFANS.
