Dear AWS Community,

We stand in solidarity with Black and Brown people, and those forced to contend with the trauma of injustice, hatred, and oppression. We see color and recognize that both personal and systemic change is the only way to stop the violence and brutality that has permeated our society for far too long. AWS is committed to addressing the growth of our collective consciousness in working to dismantle systems that perpetuate inequality. We will continue to improve our work with students to best carry out our mission: “Providing a place where children love to learn, educating children for all aspects of life, and fostering capacities within to become successful, self-assured adults who contribute to a better world.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of the auction volunteers, faculty, staff, and donors.
