Aurora Waldorf School is looking for a Woodworking Teacher. An ideal candidate has familiarity with Waldorf education and experience working with ten children or more in a setting with hand tools. Classroom management skills are also important. It is expected that the teacher will follow a Waldorf approach and do addition outside research and preparation to continue developing this program.
This part-time position is currently scheduled for classes on Tuesdays and Fridays. Benefits include pro-rated tuition remission.
The position requires a Bachelor of Arts or Science, a willingness to work from a Waldorf philosophy, and a commitment to professional development through attendance at school functions and Waldorf workshops.
